Relax and unwind in Seville
Packed with amazing sights, great restaurants and beautiful parks, a city break to Seville is the perfect getaway whether you’re travelling with family, your partner or a group of friends!
Seville is Spain’s fourth largest city, and one of the most popular with tourists. This metropolitan hub is perfect for a city break. A holiday in Seville means getting in on some great culture, finding lots to do, and also giving access to a brilliant range of nightlife. You won’t be disappointed, whatever kind of city break you’re looking for. So why not check out what Seville has in store for you?
The way Seville looks is unique and atmospheric. It boasts medieval Christian architecture alongside Moorish designs, and preserves much of its heritage. A good demonstration of this is the jaw-dropping Cathedral of Seville. As one of the world’s largest churches – arguably the largest – it makes for a pretty incredible viewing. For the Moorish buildings you should head to the Real Alcazar. This Palace is a wonderfully opulent tourist hotspot, and it hosts the room where Christopher Columbus planned his voyage to America.
If that isn’t enough culture for you, there is a range of great museums for you to check out, including the world class Museo de Bellas Artes, which houses seventeen exhibition rooms. There’s also the chance to see some of the more controversial side of Spanish culture with a bullfight. If you take a holiday in Seville during one of the festivals you’re in for a treat. The Feria de Sevilla is the most renowned event of its kind in Spain, featuring an orgy of Spanish culture, with traditional dancing and entertainments taking to the streets in all quarters. For retail therapy, and some more traditional treats, head for one of the open-air markets, or go on a spending spree at the fantastic Alcampo shopping centre.

The Nightlife in Seville is something else. After you’ve treated yourself to one of the many fine food establishments – featuring everything you could want from traditional Spanish fare, as well as loads of international cuisine – it’s time to hit the town. There’s a better bars to people ratio here than anywhere else in Europe, so you can’t really go wrong. For clubs the Isla Cartuja hosts some amazing open air discos, with the party going on until seven in the morning. It’s as much fun as you can handle.
With cheap flights and a fantastic range of hotels to suit all tastes and budgets, you are only one step away from a fantastic city break in Seville!
