Translated as ‘snowy range’, Sierra Nevada is a dramatic mountain range found in Spain’s southern Almeria and Granada provinces. The area is home to one of Europe’s most southern ski resorts, making it the ideal blend of great skiing with copious sunshine and warm weather.
Nestled at the top of Spain’s tallest mountains, the Sierra Nevada Ski resort is found in the in the south east of the country, in Andalucía. With the highest peak reaching just under 3500 meters, it offers a great snow season from around December until April.
