Beaches in Tenerife:

With year round sunshine, you could easily spend everyday at the beach, with golden or black volcanic sand and every watersport you can think of available.

  • Soak up the Canarian rays at the white sandy beach in Playa de las Americas.
  • Los Cristianos is great for swimming with shallow crystal clear waters and views of the passing boats.
  • Costa Adeje’s volcanic beach has Mount Teide acting as a magnificent backdrop.

Tenerife activities:

  • Experience the ultimate underwater adventure diving in Tenerife. With over 50 dive sites located around the island, qualified PADI instructors and an ocean abundant in marine life, you cannot miss out on diving in Tenerife!
  • Take a ride on a Jet Ski or play some beach volleyball; you’ll have some fun on the beach at Playa de las Americas.
  • Meander through the Sunday market in Los Cristianos and find that perfect souvenir.
  • Give windsurfing a go at Costa Adeje’s volcanic beach.
  • Mount Teidi is a must see when visiting Tenerife; this National Park boasts the highest peak in Spain, with spectacular views from the top, which you can reach by cable car or hiking. You can only reach the very top with a permit.

Nightlife in Tenerife:

  • Have a fun filled evening singing your heart out at a karaoke bar or enjoy a cocktail or two in Playa De Las Americas.
  • Unwind over good food or relax in a local bar in Los Cristianos.
  • Eat dinner at a beachfront table then work it off with a moonlight stroll along Costa Adeje’s promenade.
  • Santa Cruz offers a more traditional Canarian night out, with live Spanish music and salsa dancing, as well as some fantastic tapas restaurants.

Other things to do in Tenerife:

  • Go wild at the Siam water park in Costa Adeje, there’s even a free bus.
  • Watch the comings and goings at Los Cristianos’ harbour in the sunshine.
  • Enjoy the high life at one of Costa Adeje’s stylish restaurant or fashionable shops.
  • Visit the giant cliffs of Los Gigantes which reach up to 800 metres high.
  • Explore the animals of Loro Parque
