Whether you're looking for a family holiday in Tenerife or a romantic trip for two, this traditional Canarian resort is an ideal choice. The turquoise waters are there to be explored as well as admired. A multitude of water sports are on offer as well as the opportunity to go dolphin and whale watching. You will find an abundance of walks and so many beautiful sights at the nearby Los Gigantes resort, meaning on your Callao Salvaje holidays you'll truly be spoilt for choice!

Solitude and Adventure

Holidays in Callao Salvaje let you escape the crowds - you can stroll down to the town's small and quiet pebble cove or the nearest sandy beach, which can be found at the livelier Playa de las Americas, with a much more up-tempo atmosphere. Callao Salvaje is the perfect place if you're looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to enjoy the fantastic sights of Tenerife.

Take the short trip over to the Canary Islands where you can gaze at incredible sites such as Gran Canaria, where the beaches stretch to a seemingly endless degree. The landscape is like something from a dream, as the beaches are coupled with cliffs and small villages containing culture and creativity. One memorable way to absorb the heat is via an excursion through the picturesque Gran Canaria Desert, where white and golden sands stretch as far as the eye can see, until you reach the magnificent blue sea waiting for your arrival.

Mount Teide and Timanfaya National Park should also be on your adventure list, as the former is the highest mountain in Spain, featuring otherworldly solidified lava, and the latter showcases the Fire Mountains, a landscape buried under thick lava due to eruptions in Lanzarote from 1730 to 1736. For something in a similar vein but more active, head to Costa Adeje for a 4x4 camel safari or hop on board an adults only cruise and glide amongst the whales and dolphins.
