Perfect for an active holiday in the sun or just a relaxing beach holiday, this resort is also home to the amazing Siam Park, the Thai themed water park, where you can spend the day on the slides, rides and the lazy river.

Beaches

On the south coast of Tenerife Costa Adeje is one of the main family holiday destinations in the Canaries. Overlapping with Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje boasts three blue flag beaches, sheltered bays and calm water, making it perfect for children. The weather in Tenerife is warm all year round, reaching its hottest points June - September, which is great for holidays in October and February half terms.

Troya I, Troya II and Playa Fanabe beaches offer a wide range of watersports, including scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing, but if you’d prefer nothing more active than turning the pages of your book then there are miles of volcanic sand that are great for sunbathing.

Things to do

  • Costa Adeje is home to Siam Park Tenerife, the largest water park in Europe, with a vast range of exhilarating rides and slides. It even has heated pools!

  • If you’d prefer something a little less strenuous, then take a boat trip to watch whales and dolphins or on a relaxing tour of the coast.

  • Costa Adeje’s golf course has 27 holes set within a beautiful landscape.

  • The lively Playa de las Americas is close by, as is the quieter resort of La Caleta with its spectacular views of Mount Teide and the neighbouring Canary Islands. Both are great for day trips.

  • If you enjoy walking holidays, you will be close to many trails that run through protected areas of natural beauty, or take a trip to Barranco del Inferno, the deepest ravine in the Canaries. Explore the local landscape by horseback, or head to the water for some deep-sea fishing on your holiday to Costa Adeje.
