The Hotel was built in 1990, and completely refurbished in 2000. The Gran Hotel Arona is a dream-come-true. The 401 rooms, laid out on six floors, all have a balcony with a sea view, full bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, piped music, satellite television, mini bar and safe. For even greater comfort and flexibility, you can ask for an extra bed or cot, joining rooms or a junior suite. Airconditioning only in summer. Hair dryer in all rooms. Minibar use requires a deposit. The Gran Hotel Arona has three swimming pools, one of which is for children only, and they are all heated in winter.
