The Hotel La Siesta an exceptional 4 star hotel located in the heart of the popular area of Playa de Las Americas in Tenerife, just 300 metres from the sandy beach in the resort. The 4-star La Siesta Hotel is just 13-miles from the airport, so transfers to the resort are just 20 minutes – ideal if you’re travelling with children. The Siesta Hotel in Playa De Las Americas was completely renovated in 2004 and has 282 guest rooms spread across 4 floors, all with air conditioning, satellite TV, balcony/terrace, safety deposit box and mini bar (certain amenities may be payable locally). The hotel has an extensive new kids club called Magic Park that allows hotel guests to make use of the facilities in the Natural Spa and Wellness centre while their children have fun in a supervised environment. There is a Mini Club for children aged 2-9 years that has slides, ball pools, games consoles and arts and crafts to keep younger children entertained and a Game Park for 10 year olds up to adults which has a wide range of activities including arcade games, internet access, table football and pool tables. The kids club is free of charge to hotel guests while activities in the Game Park are payable locally. Parents leaving their children in the mini club must remain in the Magic Park.

The hotel has one outdoor pool for adults and one for children (both heated), a large garden and playground, sunloungers, parasols and pool bar.

Eating and drinking

The air conditioned restaurant El Drago is a modern style restaurant with international cuisine (also caters for vegetarians). Picnics are available upon request. For late arrivals a cold meal can be provided in your room if ordered through your tour operator. For early departures breakfast can be provided before 7am on request. In the hotel there are also childrens menus and chairs available. Themed evening during the week such as a Canarian evening, an Italian evening or barbecue. The Bohio Bar is situated by the swimming pool and serves snacks, drinks and ice cream throughout the day. The Salon Bar is open for evening drinks and live evening entertainment.
