Overview

An exclusive hotel with a wonderful location in south Tenerife, the Regency Country Club is exotic and charming. Inspired by the Indonesian island of Bali, the hotel is decorated with natural stone and dotted with hand-carved statues. Reception, the restaurants and all other public areas are beautifully decorated with marble floors and Asian furniture and offer outstanding views of the gardens, pool and Atlantic Ocean beyond.

The hotel’s apartment-suites are all spacious and stunning, places where you can sleep, relax, eat and chill out. As well as two restaurants, including the fabulous La Estancia restaurant, the hotel offers babysitting services, hairdressing plus body and facial treatments including massages.

The hotel provides a shuttle bus to nearby Los Cristianos where you will find the infamous Playa de las Vistas beach as well as plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Opt to stay in the hotel and play mini-golf, have fun in the games area and hit the gym or travel further afield and take day trips to Loro Parque wildlife centre, go on a jeep safari, go whale and dolphin watching or have a go at a variety of water sports.

Swimming pools

There are three heated outdoor swimming pools, the largest of which is an infinity pool with great views and a bar that can be reached from the water. There’s also an outdoor Jacuzzi plus a children’s pool.

Eating and drinking

There are two restaurants and bars to choose from. The Regency Country Club restaurant is open for breakfast from 08.00 to 11.00 and lunch is served between 12.00 and 18.00. Dinner can be eaten between 18.00 and 21.00 either in the hotel’s main restaurant, which has a wide variety of choice and themed dinners, or in La Estancia, an award-winning gourmet restaurant with a French-Mediterranean flavour and a good selection of wines.

Accommodation

The Regency Country Club offers 70 luxury apartment suites ranging from a one-bedroom Standard Suite with a terrace, lounge and open-plan kitchen and sleeping three people, to a four-bedroom Master Suite spread over two floors featuring a living room, chill-out area, sauna, Jacuzzi, terrace and solarium with a BBQ. It can sleep up to eight people plus a cot.

All apartment-suites feature a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, satellite TV, a telephone, free Internet access, air-conditioning, ceiling fans in bedrooms and lounge, hairdryer, safe, iron and bathrobes.
