This hotel benefits from a fantastic location for individual travellers who want to stay right in the vibrant heart of Zurich's old town. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but this should be no hardship to guests who can choose from a number of excellent cafes and restaurants in the area. The only point to remember is that check-in is at the Hotel Goldenes Schwert. This is a gay-friendly hotel (run by gay owners). RY 03/08
This hotel is located in a pedestrian street in the centre of Zurich's charming old town the Niederdorf. Guests should check in at the reception of the hotel Goldenes Schwert, only a five-minute walk away.
Centrally located
12 kms to the nearest airport (zurich)
Close to the station (main station (500 metres))
The rooms vary in size quite considerably, but are on average medium in size. As this is an old building, the rooms are all different, but all have been tastefully decorated with clean white walls and modern, high-quality furniture. Some rooms have attractive, polished wood floors. The bathrooms are, like the rooms, in very good condition. It should be noted, however, that although all rooms have their own basin and shower, toilets are shared.
The building blends in with its neighbours with its traditional stone facade.
As this building was originally intended as an apartment block, there is no lobby. As mentioned above, check in is at the Hotel Goldenes Schwert.
