• For the nature lovers, visit Dasyueshan, or the Great Snow Mountain. This is a national forest, and offers lovely trails to explore the Taiwanese wilderness.
• For any visitor, it’s necessary that you stop off at one of the famous night markets that are dotted all around town. Though they can get crowded on weekends, it is a cultural experience you won’t want to miss, as they serve traditional dishes and various other local goods.
• Home to the Sinon Bulls, a team in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Much like the United States, Baseball is incredibly popular in Taiwan and it is an affordable, fun way to spend an afternoon.
