Overview

The Gold Hotel is situated just 100 metres from the beach in the centre of Alanya on the Turkish coast. Alanya sits on a rocky headland between two long sandy beaches facing the Mediterranean. A 13th century fortress dominates the headland and there are numerous excellent fish restaurants, cafes and bars to explore. In particular the cafes around the harbour are popular with tourists and the road to the harbour is lined with boutiques selling handicrafts, leather, clothes, jewellery and handbags.

The Hotel Gold in Alanya has 75 comfortable, well equipped guestrooms that overlook either the pool or the sea. All rooms benefit from air conditioning, satellite television and their own balcony or terrace. During the day you can work on your tan from the comfort of a poolside lounger on the Gold Hotel’s spacious terrace or head down to the beach to try your hand at some of the water sports on offer.

The Gold Hotel is an all inclusive property and has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a selection of bars for refreshments including one at the pool, one in the lobby and one at the beach (not all bars are included in the all inclusive programme). After dinner you can head into Alanya for a drink at one of the many local bars or stay onsite and enjoy a drink beside the beautifully lit pool and sometimes even a little entertainment.

The hotel operates an all inclusive concept which includes breakfast from 7.30am to 10am, lunch between midday and 2pm, tea, coffee and cakes between 4pm and 5.30pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. All main meals are served buffet style. Drinks available from the pool bar between 10am and 11pm include local beer, local wine, local spirits (raki, gin, vodka), tea, coffee, cola, fanta, sprite and mineral water. The all inclusive programme does not include drinks at the lobby bar, facilities at the beach, ice cream, imported drinks, ice tea, cappucino, Turkish coffee, fresh orange juice and bottled drinks.
