The best beaches in the area are to be found at nearby Side. Perhaps the best, approximately 20 miles from Colakli, is Sorgun beach. There are two main beaches; one is more popular while the other is slightly less developed, meaning it offers a more peaceful experience. To the west of Side is the Kemer beach is the perfect spot to watch the sun set. Restaurants and beach cafes fill the promenade and the waters are more calm than Sorgun, meaning it is safer for children and more popular with families.
