Altinkum Beach Holidays


The name Altinkum actually translates as ‘Golden Sand’, so it is no surprise that there is three long sandy stretches that you can enjoy when you visit. The sea is shallow and azure blue, so it’s ideal for paddling and snorkelling and the sand is invitingly golden. Each beach has modern facilities and plenty of water sports available, perfect for a family beach holiday.


The beach is the place to head to if you want to top up the tan or swim in the warm seas. If you’d rather do something a bit more active, there are water sports available across the three beaches, from jet skiing and water skiing to banana boating and sailing.

Altinkum Couples Holidays


The relaxed and peaceful atmosphere of Altinkum is ideal for couples who are looking for somewhere they can enjoy a laid back, romantic holiday. Lake Bafa is a dreamy location of water surrounding three islands, with restaurants and the remains of a Byzantine monastery sprinkled across the lakeside. The Theatre of Priene is also an impressive attraction, still standing after its construction in the 4th century BC.
