The family-run Hotel Burak is just a couple of hundred metres from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants in Altinkum. This popular hotel in Turkey will appeal to families and couples looking for a centrally located property with its own swimming pool, a smaller pool for children and a pool bar so you don’t have to move far from your lounger for refreshment. Rooms are simple but adequate for a relaxing beach based holiday in the sun. The Burak Hotel has its own restaurant which serves a typical Turkish style breakfast with fresh bread, cheese, boiled eggs, jams and honey (English style breakfasts are also available and can be paid for separately) and there is a bar. The local Dolmus (bus service) stops outside if you want to explore more of the area, although with such fantastic beaches right on your doorstep, excellent restaurants down the road and friendly staff onsite you may not want to leave Altinkum.

Altinkum means golden sand, and this is definitely a resort for beach lovers, with wide soft golden sand, ideal for families. There is also good sightseeing in the area with the temple of Apollo at Didyma not to far away
