Overview

The Balkaya Hotel is situated off of the main Ovacik road, in a more rural area with just a few small hotels nearby. From the main road you can catch the local dolmus (bus service) to Hisaronu’s shops, restaurants and nightlife (the bus takes approximately five minutes) and to the popular beach in Olu Deniz which is approximately three miles away.

The Hotel Balkaya is made up of two separate buildings with a swimming pool and large sun terrace nestled between them. There are 29 guestrooms and 9 suites spread across three floors and some rooms are suitable for families (sleeping up to five people). All have en-suite facilities and air conditioning is available with extra charge payable locally.

Attractive, well maintained gardens surround the Balkaya Hotel Turkey and in addition to the inviting pool area and spacious terrace there is also a pool and playground for children, table tennis and a pool table, currency exchange and internet facilities. Due to its more rural location and the lack of local footpaths, the hotel may not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.

The right choice?

This family friendly hotel in Turkey will appeal to couples and families looking for a tranquil location from which to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the sun. If however you want to explore local towns of Hisaronu, Olu Deniz and Fethiye, this is also easy using the excellent local buses that stop just a few hundred metres away from the hotel.

Swimming pools

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a separate children’s pool. A sun terrace and gardens surround the hotel and provide ample space in which to relax and soak up the Turkish sunshine.

The hotel has a restaurant with an a la carte menu as well as a pool bar and a snack bar.
