Climate

Marmaris boasts an outstanding climate, for anybody looking to enjoy an idyllic beach holiday. It can get very hot during the peak months of July and August, which is also when most of the crowds arrive. However, visit in the Spring or Autumn, and you can still enjoy pleasant beach weather along with a little more peace and quiet!

Sunbathing

Hoping to work on your tan a little? There are great provisions for sunbathing down at the beach, with fine golden sand in addition to a great range of deck chairs and sun beds. You’ll even be able to pick up a cocktail from one of the many beachside bars, to enjoy as you bask in the golden rays!

Quiet Spots

Those hoping to enjoy a little rest and relaxation down at the beach won’t find it hard to escape the busy crowds – the long stretch of coastline here offers numerous discrete coves and inlets, so you need only take a short stroll along the beach, in order to find a private spot for swimming and sunbathing.

Boat Trips

One popular way to spend the time, is to taking a boat trip out from the harbour. There are numerous companies who run pleasure boat cruises from here – some lasting a weekend, others just long enough to enjoy a traditional Turkish meal and some live music!
