On holiday in Turkey you will find a beach resort to suit everyone; families, couples, singles and groups. The main summer holiday season in Turkey runs from April to October, however some visitors choose to head there in the winter months when it is quieter with a few hotels remaining open in the larger resorts.

From Marmaris to Antalya, the area known as The Turquoise Coast is stunning with the gentle Mediterranean Sea lapping at its shores. Fethiye, Kemer, Oludeniz, Ovacik and Dalaman boast fabulous sandy beaches as does Alanya and Lara, Icmeler, Turunc, Belek, Side and Hisaronu.

Bodrum, Kusadasi, Izmir and Cesme are fascinating locations with wonderful city sightseeing and great beaches and boarder the Aegean Sea. Altinkum, Bitez, Turgutreis and Gumbet are all in the Bodrum Region.

Beaches in Turkey

When on holiday in Turkey you will find secluded coves and sun kissed bays along Turkey's beautiful coastline and with a hot and dry climate throughout the summer months, Turkey beach holidays are very popular. The Turkish resort of Olu Deniz is stunning with a sheltered turquoise blue lagoon that washes onto a vast crescent of golden sands surrounded by pine-covered hills.

Marmaris is a large resort in Turkey which sits in a dramatic bay and has a gently shelving beach where you may choose from a range of water sports including scuba diving and snorkeling. There is also a wide variety of boat cruises that depart from the sophisticated Marmaris yacht marina.

The nearest beach to Bodrum is Gumbet Bay which is a beautiful bay where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean, and the warm clear waters ideal for swimming and a wide range of water sports. Alanya has two beautiful sandy beaches dotted with caves and there are plenty of water sports available too.
