• Luton was once known for its hat making. The Hat Factory is now an Arts Centre where you can enjoy contemporary theatre, dance, music and exhibitions. If you want to see examples of traditional hat making visit Wardown Park Museum or Stockwood Craft Museum.
• If you are interested in the history of vehicles then be sure to visit the Mossman Collection holding the largest vehicle collection in the UK including horse-drawn carriages from the Roman times.
• The Chiltern Hills are easy to visit if you fancy a walk in the countryside. In this area of outstanding natural beauty you will find quintessential villages tucked in the rolling green hills.
• Luton is good for shopping, with all the high street names found in the town centre and The Arndale Centre. Within this shopping centre is Luton’s market, home to butchers, fishmongers, fruit, veg and flower stalls.
