Warrington is a town found in the county of Cheshire, in the north west of England. It stands above the River Mersey, it was first founded by the Romans as an important place on the trip across the river.

Culture

• The town of Warrington is known for its shopping and nightlife, making it a popular place with many people from across the county. With a range of different shops, including some individual boutiques, you can find some special items on the high street around the town centre, and the Golden Square.
• Walton Hall is an old manor house that is not only a lovely trip for adults, but with a children’s zoo, it’s the perfect destination for all the family. It’s also surrounded by a putting green, a crazy golf course and some play areas for the kids.

• Victoria Park is a tranquil area positioned next to the River Mersey. You can enjoy a stroll along the path or a picnic in the shade.
• If you are travelling with little ones, Gulliver’s World is a theme park filled with rides that all the family can enjoy.
• If you like a challenge, visit the Amazing Maize Maze, which is five acres of twisting labyrinth turns and dead ends that you can explore as you try to find the exit!
