Why Heathrow Airport?
- Conveniently for the traveller arriving at Heathrow, the airport is located just 14 miles west of Central London and is easily accessible both by car and a number of other public transport options. The Heathrow Express train is the fastest link into the city from the airport with direct trains running to Paddington train station every 15 minutes from all terminals, the journey is also around 15 minutes long. If you are looking to save some pennies the London Underground also serves the airport via its Piccadilly Line although this does take considerably longer to reach the city centre. A further option is to catch the Heathrow Connect bus which runs ever 30 minutes and which takes around 25 minutes to arrive at its final destination of Paddington in west London.
