Getting around outer London
Leave central London and you are in the leafy outskirts of the city, Outer London. The super tube network or underground service makes every corner of Outer London accessable to the centre of the city.
If a tube doesn’t go there, then there will be an overland train service. If you don’t want to take a tube take one of the red buses that run regularly or if you’re staying around Croydon then take a tram.
North and East London
Outer London can offer a slightly cheaper selection of hotel accommodation although there is still a fine selection of luxury hotels around the outskirts.
In North West London you could follow in the footsteps of many a famous poet in the buzzing town of Hampstead or take a stroll through the rolling Hampstead Heath. Wembley Stadium is in the north west, home to the new Wembley Stadium which hosts many a football match and concert. Regents Park and London Zoo are also in north west London and very close to the buzzing town of Camden Town with its many open air markets selling vintage clothes and antiques; a town also offering an amazing and diverse nightlife
Towards the east of London is the Bromley, the delightful Epping Forest and super shopping experiences at the enormous Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres.
South and West London
To the south are the exclusive boroughs of Kingston upon Thames and Richmond, as well as Sutton and Croydon.
Then to the west is Hillingdon and Hounslow close to the airports and dry ski slope with Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham trendy centres for nightlife and fine dining.
