Attractions in the outskirts of London

Stay for a few nights in the outskirts of London and take a few days to enjoy the best attractions around the city.

Outer London attractions:

  • Take a peek inside the world-famous Madame Tussauds. A major tourist attraction located in Marylebone London; it’s famous for recreating famous people, or celebrities, in wax.
  • Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is located just 50 metres from London’s Millennium Footbridge. Visit this site dedicated to providing information about the facts, history and people of the Globe Theatre and Shakespeare.
  • Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch the Queen. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. During the summer, visitors can tour the nineteen State Rooms, which form the heart of the Palace.

Outer London site-seeing:

Outer London entertainment:

  • Brick Lane, located in the east end of London is the heart of the city's Bangladeshi community. The famous lane is known for being a vibrant art and fashion student area, with amazing exhibition spaces and small boutiques. Celebrated as the curry capital of the UK, there is nowhere better to eat out.
  • Wembley Stadium is the second largest stadium in Europe. With a capacity of 90,000, it serves as England’s national stadium. Besides football, Wembley can be configured to hold many other events, particularly major concerts.
  • The O2, Greenwich peninsula, South-East London is a state-of-the-art concert arena. It also includes a music club, cinema, exhibition space, piazzas and an unlimited range of restaurants.

Outer London cuisine:

  • Lakeside has over 250 shops, cafes and restaurants within the shopping centre and together with the retail park; it forms one of the largest shopping destinations in the UK.
