There are many cycle routes through the Northamptonshire countryside and outlets offering affordable cycle hire. Favourite routes include The Nene Valley Way and the The Bluebell Line.
• If you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids Wickstead Park is just over a half hours drive away from Northampton and offers a host of attractions from rollercoasters to more sedate rides for small children.
