The Victorian Town Hall is an impressive example of Gothic architecture and there is a great range of sport facilities for active visitors.
• Within Burton-upon-Trent there are three major shopping centres. Each offers a combination of high street retailers and independent boutiques all under one roof. Head back to the Bass Museum to stock up on local souveniers, i.e. beer.
• Burton upon Trent has a range of foodie establishments for any tastebud. The shopping centres and the immediate area have the majority of the familiar name chains but move away to the quieter streets to find something a bit more local and organic.
• The town centre of Burton-upon-Trent is dotted with bars and pubs. There isn’t much for night owls who want to spend all evening dancing but plenty for those who just fancy a chilled out drink and watching the world go by.
