- As well as these famous residents, East Grinstead is also the perfect location to visit should you wish to experience some of the royal properties that the south has to offer. Hever Castle, the home of Henry VIII’s second wife, Anne Boleyn, is nearby as is Chartwell, the country home of Sir Winston Churchill.
