The Mammoth ski resort has a very long season, one of the longest in the United States, lasting for over half the year. The Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort itself does not have accommodation. Hotels and apartments for the resort are located at the town of Mammoth Lakes situated at the foot of the mountain.
