Viva Las Vegas

Known as the entertainment capital of the world and the ultimate party destination, holidays to Las Vegas, Nevada are a must for those that like their breaks full of life, excitement and American glitz.

Home to the most recognised hotels in the world, famous faces and of course the world’s most loved strip, Las Vegas, Nevada, promises a trip of a lifetime, perfect for adventurous couples and thrill-seeking groups. This mesmerising city offers something for everyone. Not only does it boast an abundance of amazingly designed and decorated casinos, but there are also spectacular live shows and thriving bars for the evening revellers.

Entertainment Capital of the World

If you want to be in the heart of the action during your Las Vegas holidays, head to the famous strip which is packed with casinos and upmarket hotels, such as the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino which even has its own gondola ride for that added bit of romance. Or, check out Wynn Las Vegas for an extravagant hotel within easy reach of all the points of interest.

The hotels are attractions in their own rights, and on holidays in Las Vegas you’ll find yourself going from New York to Venice in a matter of minutes. Caesars Palace is also among the most iconic hotels in the city and the whole of the USA, but if there is one hotel that trumps them all, it has to be The Bellagio. Waking up to those famous fountains and exploring the hotel's very own Botanical Gardens and Gallery of Fine Art are iconic Vegas experiences in themselves.

Try your Luck

With so many things to do in the city, you may be spoilt for choice. But never fear, we’re here to help. If you’re on a family holiday, head to the Stratosphere Tower on Las Vegas Boulevard, with lots of theme park rides to choose from, such as the Big Shot and Insanity or, for more of a cultural experience, you could wander around the Liberace Museum. There are plenty of family-friendly thrills to cater to all ages, from the snaking rollercoaster that winds around the New York New York Hotel, to the enthralling Circus Circus big top.

Trips to Las Vegas can always be intertwined with your Grand Canyon holidays, if you’re hoping to add two ticks to your bucket list. The six-hour journey is well worth the wait, as the red rock awaits with enough awe to weaken the knees.

During Las Vegas holidays as you experience the American dream, the sound of clanging coins is never far away, so trying your luck in one of the casinos is a must! Give the roulette wheel a spin, take a poker lesson or try your hand at craps. You’ll find the coin slots are hugely popular among the Las Vegas locals, so grab some change and see how you fare!

The city boasts some distinctive museums and exhibitions, from The Neon Museum that exhibits the bright lights of past Vegas to the Erotic Heritage Museum, there’s a unique experience to be had. The Luxor is famed for holding fascinating exhibits and is currently home to one of the most visited exhibitions in the world: The Titanic Artefact Exhibition, making it well worth a stop.
