- Yellowstone National Park: one of the largest national parks in the USA, Yellowstone is home to a vast array of flora and fauna – as well as boasting breathtaking mountains, canyons and geysers.
- Grand Tetons National Park: a little way south of Yellowstone, is the park known as Grand Tetons. Here the Teton Mountains rise dramatically from the level valley floor, offering some truly outstanding scenery.
- Flaming Gorge: is a vast recreational area in the southwest corner of the state, and boasts over 200,000 acres of open land.
